Hey all! I'm heading into an Apple store... Can you offer up some quick tips to check out voice over? Nothing too extensive...smile!

Command-f5 gets it going. The voice-over key combinations all use the control and alt keys. To move around the screen, you will use control-option-arrow keys, to click on something, control-option-space. Command-o opens a program, file, or folder.
Rats! did I miss this one? Don't forget control-option-k for the keyboard practice mode same as insert-1 in Jaws and also remember, when viewing the internet if you are moving around the screen and hear "html content" press control-option-shift-downarrow to interact with it and view the page. Ctrl-Option-i is the item chooser list which puts most everything in to a list format and as you type what you want to find on the page the list will shrink until it shows close matches. arrow down to one of them and press enter to bering focus to it. Also, ctrl-option-l for links list and also ctrl-option-command-h to move through headings.

o come on, what's so bad about the mac? not that i've used one, but there are blind ppl who use it all the time as there main pc.
